After a week of gale force winds and torrential rain, I arrived at Carbis Bay Hotel for Francis and Lizzie’s wedding yesterday hoping for at least some dry spells. But, the weather did better than that, and we were graced with a mostly dry day, later clearing to beautiful sunshine and blue skies allowing the happy couple and their guests to grab an ice cream and get down onto the beach.
